The website for the CSU’s is www.csumentor.edu.
The website for UC’s is www.universityofcalifornia.admissions.edu.

TIPS ON CSU: Don’t click fee waiver or submit until we have checked everything!  OK to leave off courses on CSU ONLY that you don’t need to meet A-G reqs (IE APBio, PreCalc) Let us help you calculate GPA.(it’s 10-12 weighted for honors)Get everything done so we can check!!

TIPS ON UC: Don’t stress over parents occupation, hours you did an activity , etc! NOT IMPORTANT. UC’s do not admit by major, so do not stress too much about this! Always use undeclared as alternate! On scholarships: just check anything that is a good match – not connected to admission!

On EOP question, always say yes. In box state: low income/disadvanged school/1st generation etc. You can put family duties in the work box – if you pick up siblings, help around house etc! Don’t forget honors like RUSD Bilingual medal (4 yrs language or test),  Renaissance honors (4.0 platinum, 3.5 gold. 3.0 silver. 2.5 Noble) Noble of Month etc!

ABOVE ALL: DO NOT SUBMIT EITHER APP UNTIL WE HAVE CHECKED!! Don’t count on older brothers/sisters/aunts/friends to do this, please!

If you are in Hall’s caseload you can email your username and password to her home email.  She will check all weekend and Weds/Fri/Sat next week!!

MONDAY 11/24 - 3 to 6 is “Boot Camp” check in Library after school! Treats provided! TUESDAY 11/25 -  Hall has blocked whole day off for IB/AP English kids to check apps.
