Extended day credit recovery classes will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 3-4:30pm.

The 57th Assembly District College & Career Fair

The 57^th Assembly District College & Career Fair will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Admissions representatives from 40 colleges and universities will be in attendance. Workshops will be held in English and Spanish to cover topics such as financial aid, the DREAM Act, SAT/ACT, UC/CSU admissions, writing personal statements, and community colleges.  Also, high school seniors in the 57^th Assembly District are eligible to participate in the essay contest where they will be given the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. All high school students who attend will be entered in the opportunity drawing for prizes ranging from $100 to $500. Winners must be present at the fair at the time of the scholarships and opportunity drawing prizes announcements.

The College & Career Fair is FREE to ALL parents & high school students attending schools in the 57^th Assembly District.

Rules & Eligibility

High school seniors who attend a school within the 57th District and

are scheduled to graduate in Spring 2015 are eligible to compete.

Three winners will receive $1,000 scholarships. Contestants must be

present at the College & Career Fair to be awarded a scholarship.
